Erica and Josh
December 22, 2012

I finished off 2012 with a wedding that couldn’t have been any better. Erica and Josh’s super chic wedding was absolutely fabulous. The day started with Erica and a few of her bridesmaids getting ready at the gorgeous Gansevoort Hotel in the Meatpacking district. If you ever want to get ready in style, this is the place to be. So beautiful and unique, it provides a stunning setting to have all your “getting ready” photos. Erica wore a beautiful wedding dress made by Amsale for Christos, J’Adore. The dress featured a beautiful embroidered French Alencon Lace bodice, a silk satin ribbon bow with layers of plated tulle and a chapel length train. The bride removed the silk satin bow and created a sash out of hundreds of Swarovski crystals and sewed onto a long satin ribbon that she then tied in the back with a bow, that draped down her layers of tulle.

Her shoes, quite possibly could be the best wedding shoes I’ve ever seen. It was a Christian Louboutin and featured a Swarovski crystal heel. Lace and silk covered the remaining parts of her 6 inch heel. Bridesmaids chose their own dresses in off white. And wore brands like Badgley Mischka, Sue Wong, alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet and Nicole Miller.

After everyone finished getting ready, the first look took place on the Gansevoort rooftop before getting whisked away in a vintage taxi to Studio 450, where they were to be wed.  Studio 450 is also a very unique setting. Fashion photo shoots happen here by day but by night, the place gets transformed into a large area which with beautiful up lighting, turns the place into fairyland. The rooms are completely white with glass all around so you get a view of New York City. Erica and Josh’s Winter Wonderland inspired wedding was all put together by the amazing Danielle Bobish of Curtain Up Events. Brides… She’s amazing if you need event coordination/design etc.

A traditional Jewish Wedding was performed under candlelight, before all the guest headed to have dinner and before everyone danced the night away! Congratulations again to Erica and Josh! Enjoy!
